NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Party

Last year BookFuel hosted a NaNoWriMo kick-off party.  It’s a fun way to get started on your 50,000 words for the month of November. We thought we’d share some pictures with you in hopes you decide to throw your own, or attend one because it’s a great way to get motivated to start your novel.

It doesn’t have to be a Martha Stewart type soiree – make it simple, even more simple make it pot-luck. The point of the party to to be motivated by fellow writers to start writing. It’s a way to dedicate a couple of hours to get started on that novel; that novel you’ve been meaning to start for quite awhile now.

Because it was Halloween, we decided to ramp it up a bit and ask our author guests to dress up. You are never too old to dress up.

And because it’s not just a fun costume party, it’s also about the business of writing and at 12:01 am everyone got to it and got a head start on their 50,000 words.

We’re hosting another one this year – if you’re in the Denver Metro area come by — we really want to help you get started on your novel. We believe in you — yes, YOU.
